February 1st, 2019 by

A car ride does not always have to be about just getting from point A to point B. It should be an experience enjoyed every time that you enter your vehicle. That is exactly what the 2019 Toyota Highlander achieves by turning every outing into an adventure. This mid-size crossover SUV redefines the market with performance and technology that you won’t find anywhere else. Let’s take a closer look at the 8 different trim levels to see exactly what type of features you can expect from each.

LE

On the 2019 Highlander, your base model is going to be referred to as the LE trim level. This trim level features all of the standard features that each trim level above it will build off of. For this level, you will get Toyota Safety Sense, seating for 8, Entune Audio with Bluetooth, integrated backup camera, and 5 total USB ports.

LE Plus

Taking a step above the LE model, you will get the LE Plus. This trim level will have all of the great features of the LE, but with a few upgraded or additional features. These features include a power liftgate, three-zone automatic climate control, SofTex-trimmed seats, leather trimmed steering wheel, Entune Audio Plus with HD/Satellite radio, and a flip up rear hatch.

XLE

Finishing up the LE variants is going to be the XLE trim level. Like the LE, it will feature the same equipment as the previous trim but with some upgrades or additions. With the XLE trim level on the 2019 Highlander, you can expect a Smart Key System with push button start, leather trimmed front seats and second row, Entune Premium Audio with integrated navigation and Entune App Suite, power tile/slide moonroof, and a Multi-Information Display.

SE

For those wanting a little more sportier Toyota Highlander, you can opt for the SE trim level. While it comes with the same great features as the XLE, it also has some standout features that make it stand out.On this trim level, you will get black painted 19″ alloy wheels, sport-tuned suspension, projector beam halogen black accent headlights with LED, and auto on/off headlights.

Limited

Taking a different turn from the sporty, stealthy SE is the Limited trim level. This trim level includes many of the same features as the SE but with 19″ Chromtec alloy wheels, blind spot monitor and rear cross-traffic alert, heated and ventilated front row seats, Entune Premium JBL Audio, and seating for seven.

Hybrid

If you are in the market for a more fuel efficient SUV, the LE package on the Highlander is going to be the most affordable option for the 2019 models. This trim level includes the same great features found on the LE trim package but will be equipped with the a hybrid engine. This will be the same trend found on the Hybrid XLE and Limited as well. They will each have the same features as the trim level they reflect with the addition of a fuel efficient hybrid engine.
